05.2 | Christine Lehmann was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau for breaching the Nuremberg Laws; she succumbed to the camp’s inhumane living conditions on 28 March 1944. Her two children were also deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau as ‘gypsies of mixed blood’ and murdered.
